Feeling better!

Thanks for all the prayers. Mackenzie is feeling much better. In fact she just woke up this morning and was sneaking up on me trying to scare me. :)
I'll post pictures of spring break later.

Please pray for Kenzie!

Aloha family and friends. We've been on spring break all week and did some fun things but I'll have to post those pics later. Mason went in Monday and tested positive for strep throat. I took Kenzie in yesterday with similar symptoms and the doc called this morning with her test results and confirmed that she has it too. But, in addition it appears that she has scarlet fever too. From what I've read online it's not as serious as it sounds but she has a rash on her chest, a high fever (around 101-102), and vomiting. She hasn't kept anything down, except water and juice, since lunchtime yesterday. Bob should be home soon with her antibiotics. I'm praying that will work fast!
Please pray for her. I'll keep you updated.

Happy Easter! I love celebrating the day that Jesus rose from the dead, defeating sin and death! Hallelujah!
We helped out at our church's Easter egg hunt Saturday morning. The kids were very helpful and had a fun time. Here are a few pictures.

Mason helping with the bean bag toss game.
Kenzie was more interested in having shaved ice than helping. :)
Bob was on the "egg distribution" team. They put out a lot of eggs. He even got to hide the golden eggs!
This is the Kindergarten and under egg hunt. I don't even know if Kenzie is in this shot. I didn't get pictures of Mason because I was responsible for taking this group up and then manning the golden egg prize table. After the egg hunt, we helped clean up, went home for a couple of hours and then went back up to the church for a retirement party for some friends of ours. It ended up being a pretty busy day.
Sunday we are going to church, having a couple of friends over for lunch, and then of course more egg hunting!
I pray that everyone has a blessed Easter Sunday!

Aloha all! We were so blessed to have Kelly and Maggie here for a visit even if it was less that 24 hrs. They are flying back through here and catching a hop from here to Okinawa so we might get to spend a few days with them again. Here are a few pictures. You guys in NE have fun the next couple of weeks.

The passenger terminal for the military flights had this great play area for the kids while we waited for Kelly and Maggie.

The kids just can't get enough of their baby cousin, Maggie. Kenzie even picked her up and carried her. (I was more nervous about that than Kelly was!)

Finally some picture!

Hi everyone! We've been doing good here. It seems that we are always busy but yet it's just everyday things. Here are a few pics that we've taken recently.

Kenzie clipping coupons.

Mason doing homework.

Kenzie with her new shoes. Our neighbor is the manager at Sketchers and they had a friends and family sale this past week. We ended up with shoes for Kenzie, Mason, and Bob all 50% off! It was a great deal! Mackezie was so excited to get "tie laces". She doesn't know how yet but is anxious to learn. Her last couple pairs of tennis shoes have been velcro so I've neglected teaching her. I guess now is the time. :)

Mason got this "hover disc" from his classroom store. He bought it with his aloha bucks. The kids were having a blast with it outside this evening.
