Memorial Day Fun

It was a beautiful day here today. The kids wanted to "camp" in the front yard with the neighbor kids. Bob cleaned the car, inside and out, and I did some cleaning inside. That was about it for our holiday. :) Hope everyone enjoyed their day off.

Sounds a little like our Memorial Day here. We both worked. I came home to see Emma in the sandbox, which she had filled to the top with water from the hose. UGH!

Brings back memories of all you kids at that age and how much fun you had doing things like that. Only the Suttons/Kaups didn't have a nice two room tent like that. Maybe James would have been safe from you girls.

Do you guys remember some holiday at our old house on Bauman where dad got out a black tarp thing and we played slip-n-slide for hours? I remember being sunburned and feeling bad the next day when the grass under the tarp was BROWN! Oh yeah, and James would fling himself so hard down the tarp that he'd crash into the fence every single time...
