Goodnight moon....

Last night we saw the most beautiful moon and what I thought were two bright stars. I have since learned that they are Venus and Jupiter. (Thanks, Michelle!)
And, a funny story: I talked to Katie this afternoon and she said she saw the same moon/stars tonight. After I got off the phone I told the kids that Katie had seen the same thing we saw. Right away Kenzie said, "probably she ate carrots." I said, "What? What do carrots have to do with it." She responded with, "Katie can see really far!"
I guess maybe if you eat enough carrots you can see us all the way over here in Hawaii! Let me know when you're looking and we'll wave. :)
Other than than we enjoyed our Thanksgiving. There is so much to be thankful for!!
Have a great week, everyone!

I noticed those same two "stars" tonight on my way home from work. They are so bright right next to the moon. It is pretty cool.

I guess I ate carrots also, because I gazed upon the same stars!

I have horrible eyes Kenz and I even saw them tonight. They were pretty cool. Maybe I should eat more carrots though. (no cooked ones though, yuck!)

Astronomy wiz I am not... so I would still be thinking that they were stars.... Anywho, no carrots for me, at least not of the raw variety, they give me hives in my mouth. Bring on the good mushy cooked ones, though. Especially when they've been cooked with a roast in the crockpot, right Sarah?!?!? :)
